On August 1, 2011 we assumed operations at "The Carpenters Cupboard" located on 44th Avenue between Wadsworth and Kipling in Wheat Ridge, Colorado.

Donations are needed in the form of financial gifts, food (perishable and non-perishable), clothing and other tangible items.

Volunteers are needed Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

LOCATION:
Event will take place in front of Denver City Hall, between 14th and Colfax on Bannock Street. 
 
VOLUNTEERS:
Set Up Crews:
8:00am to 11:00am

Servers:
11:00am to 6:00pm
(we will feed from noon until 6:00pm)

Clean Up Crew:
6:00pm to 7:00pm

ITEMS NEEDED:
Food of all kinds, salads, desserts, casseroles, paper products, large trash bags, aluminum foil, plastic ware
 
Our financial need for this event is $15,000 to cover permits, rentals, insurance, food, meter closures, etc..

1/22/12 - Prayer request from Philip: After being on medical stress leave from my job, I've been unemployed for 2 years now. I have no income or health insurance and all my human efforts have failed to find employment. Please ask God to open a door to a suitable job for me, that won't cause me to have another breakdown, and please pray for my finances. I've been crying out to God and have requested prayer from many Christian ministries. I don't know what else to do or where to go at this point. I've been feeling abandoned and hopeless. My wife and I need a miracle breakthrough very badly. Thank you for your prayers. God bless you.
1/03/12 - Prayer request from Jane: for my daughter ,her husband filed for divorce,she has no money for a lawyer.they have 2 children,1 special need,who wants her daddy home and the youngest that does not know what its like to have a mommy and daddy at home . my daughter has to go to court on the 11 of jan please pray for it not to happen my daughter can not afford a lawyer ,she does not have a awyermy daughter wants her marriage,this girl moved in with him so please pray this woman out of his life ,she wont let go ,she the reason why they seperated.pray that the lordput pleace in her heart,and that my daughter and her husband start talking,they used to talk now they dont ,please pray this girl out of his life,my daughter does not have money,she barly making ends meet, her husband is prideful,and this girl is influencing him, i'm tired of seeing my daughter cry, this girl has money ,and so does my daughter husband, this girl was my daughter bestfriend/sister in law so this girl told my daughter husband alot of things ,also my husband needs a job,also pray for my son jacob,hes drifting away from the lord .that the lord draw him back and stop hanging with his lost friends,and he stop fighting his convictions.

10/19/11 - Prayer request from Gabriel: I want you to kindly pray for our new church building. We have completed the siding, but we still need funds to plaster and lay floors. Pray that the Lord should provide funds for the remaining work. Thank you so much for your prayers.
10/03/11 - Prayer request from Gabriel: Kindly pray for our up coming opening and dedicatory program of our new church building on a three plots of land purchased by the church. Pray that the Lord will make way for our international guests to come.
08/08/11 - Prayer request from Evelyn: Please keep praying for my husband. The pain really subsided, but the minor pain is present daily. We are now in a 3rd week fighting for this illness. We are in need of help in order for my husband to get an ultra sound and undergo some laboratory tests.
07/29/11 - Prayer request from Evelyn: My husband was diagnosed having liver problem. He is in need of 2 months medicine support to make his liver back to normal. 60 pcs of tablets cost more than $2. each, and 120 pcs of another tablets cost more than quarter dollar. Pain is present from last Sunday up to now. Please pray.

I want to visit David in Denver in November. I want to be there for the Thankgiving Outreach.
07/20/11 - Prayer request from Caroline: I am asking prayer for my niece Emma Joy. She just turned 3 years old and is having her third open heart surgery on August 9th, 2011 in Milwaukee, WI. We just really need prayer that the surgery goes smoothly. And that Emma Joy will be safe. And please pray for our family - especially my sister Liz and my brother in law Justin and their 3 other girls. This is a very hard time leading up to this surgery. We know Emma is in the best hands - God's. Please pass this around to everyone you know for prayer. And have them pass it around.
