In front of Denver City Hall
between 14th and Colfax on Bannock

Volunteers Needed:
Set Up Crew: 8:00am to 11:00am
Servers: 11:00am to 6:00pm
(We will feed from 12noon until the line ends at 6:00pm)
Clean Up Crew: 6:00pm to 7:00pm

We need to raise $15,000 for each Thanksgiving Outreach held each year on the second Saturday of November 

Started in 1995 by David Clifton of David Clifton Ministries, Inc. (dba Jesus to the World International). This
event is held every 2^nd Saturday of November. Event will take place in front of Denver City Hall, between 14th and Colfax on Bannock. This event joins metro area churches, businesses and families in reaching out to several thousand homeless and needy families each year to provide them hot food and essentials for comfort and survival. We need your help in the following areas:

Our goal is to raise $15,000 to feed over 15,000 people, cover all city permits, insurance, rentals, additional food items, meter closures, etc.

AREAS OF SERVICE

Attendants, Clean Up Crews, Clothing Attendants Cooks, Distributers, Drivers, Evangelists, Food Basket Assembly, Food Carriers, Graphics Artists, Hair Cutters, Intercessors, Manicurists, Ministers, Musicians, Parking Valets, Plastic Ware Assembly, Set Up Crews, Runners, Security, Servers, Set Up and Tear Down Crews

ITEMS TO BRING

We ask that all volunteers bring a food item.

Food Items: 
Bring all Hot Foods already cooked in large disposable tins, along with serving utensils that you do not need. The items below are only suggestions:

Hot Meat Items: Beef Brisket, Beef Ribs, Beef Ka-Bobs, Beef Hot Dogs, Chicken, Duck, Fish, Hamburger, Lamb, Meat Loaf, Roast Beef, Turkeys (do not need to pre-cut), Veal, Wild Game, etc.

Hot Side Dishes: Casseroles of all kinds, Graveys, Lasagna, Mashed Potatoes, Macaroni and Cheese, Sweet Potatoes, Vegetables of all kinds, etc.

Salad Dishes: Salads of all kinds (Egg Salad, Fruit Salad, Jello Salad, Spinach Salad, etc.), Raw Vegetables, Cooked Vegetables, Relish Trays

Drinks: Coffee, Ice, Juices of all kinds (Apple, Orange, etc.), Kool-Aid, Pop, Tea, Water

Condiments: Butter, Ketchup, Lemons, Limes, Mayonnaise, Onions, Pickles, Relish, Salt and Pepper Packets

Paper and Plastic Products:   Napkins, Plastic Bowls, Plastic Cups, Plastic Plates (Large and Sturdy), Plastic Ware, Sanitizer Packets (hand wipes), Serving Utensils

Miscellaneous: Extra Large Heavy – Duty Trash Bags, Large Parking Brooms, Heavy Duty Trash Cans, Mr. Clean Multi-Surfaces Cleaner, Small Can Openers, Rolls of Plastic Table Covering, Rags, Paper Towels, Small Water Buckets, Wire Cleaning Brushes

Canned and Boxed Food Items for Food Baskets 

Clothing Items:
Blankets, Back Packs, Gloves, Hats, Jeans, Socks, T-Shirts, Sleeping Bags, Underwear, Winter Jackets

Toiletry Items:
Men:  Deodorant, Disposable Razor, Hand Sanitizer, Mouthwash, Nail Clippers, Roll of Toilet Paper, Toothpaste and Toothbrush
Women:  Deodorant, Disposable Razor, Feminine Hygiene Products, Hand Sanitizer, Make-up, Mouthwash, Nail File and Clippers, Roll of Toilet Paper, Toothpaste and Toothbrush
